You've Got Questions. We've Got Answers.

General

Apart from our Bliss Whitening Strips, all other products in the Bliss range are regulated as cosmetics under the EU Directive and have been tested and proven safe.

Yes.

Yes, we are 100% cruelty free and we will never test on animals. That’s our promise!

No – these spots are a result of mineral loss and although rare, if you do notice them, they should disappear within 24 hours.

Results will differ from person to person and depend on many factors, including whether you smoke, drink a lot of coffee, and certain foods you consume. Some people will see results after just one application of our whitening strips, and others will see results after three applications. Those who have a lower coffee and tea intake and do not smoke are likely to see results faster. We recommend using our whitening strips daily, as well as using our priming toothpaste and sonic toothbrush, for optimum results that will last longer.

Teeth whitening is not permanent. People who expose their teeth to foods and
beverages that cause staining will see their results fade over time. Your desired results rest entirely with you! Our whitening strips can be applied up to twice per day, so if you are diligent with your applications, your pearly white grin will last and last! Using our dentist-approved primer toothpaste and sonic toothbrush will also offer you the best results and a longer-lasting white smile.

The amount of whitening varies from client to client and cannot be predicted or
guaranteed; but in general use, teeth may lighten anywhere from 6 to 12 shades on the whitening shade guide. The results depend greatly on how discolored the teeth were originally. Yellow or brown teeth, surface stains, and uniformly darkened teeth are easiest to whiten. In order to achieve your desired shade, we recommend using our whitening strips at least 3 times a week, in conjunction with our sonic toothbrush and whitening toothpaste for optimum results.

Existing restorations such as tooth-coloured fillings, dentures, crowns, bonding,
veneers, and bridges do not lighten with any whitening products. This means that any pre-existing dental work may need to be replaced to match the new tooth shade achieved in natural teeth.

Anyone with healthy gums and teeth that are looking to brighten up their smile can benefit from Bliss whitening products. It has been shown to be highly effective at removing stains from teeth, including tobacco, coffee, tea, tetracycline, and various other tooth stains. Bliss whitening products will not affect existing dental work and is perfectly harmless. Though Bliss Whitening Strips are harmless, it is advised that children under the age of 12, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those who suffer from oral ulceration should discuss this with their prescribing dentist before undergoing a course of whitening treatment.

Bliss teeth whitening products does not cause permanent damage to the enamel on your teeth, and is considered harmless by dental health professionals, when used as recommended. Do not use on loose teeth, temporary fillings or Orthodontic appliances.  Consult your dentist if you have any dental concerns.

Definitely!  This will ensure that your teeth continue to stay white and healthy.

We advise that you refrain from or minimise smoking, drinking wine, tea, coffee and other food items that usually stain your teeth.  Excessive intake of any of these may take longer to achieve your goal of whitening your teeth.

In general, brushing your teeth regularly will prevent gingivitis and our product can help prevent its occurrence.  If you already have gingivitis, we advise that you seek professional help.  With regard to sores and open wounds in your mouth, it may cause a stinging sensation, but is safe in general.

How white your teeth turn out depends on many factors, such as diet, age, genetics, and how well you stick to your routine.  The active ingredient is Hydrogen Peroxide which has a bleaching effect, but will only work on natural teeth and not on any oral aesthetics.

Yes, they are safe, but will not alter the colour of veneers and crowns

Sonic Whitening Toothbrush

It is recommended to leave the Sonic Toothbrush on full charge at all times. Normally, it gets a full charge in 1 hour.

Unfortunately, we do not sell it separately. It only comes with the Sonic Whitening Toothbrush.

Yes, it has overcharge protection.

Like every toothbrush, it is advisable to change your toothbrush head every 3 months.

With manual toothbrushes, most people tend to use a lateral, back-and-forth motion as opposed to the recommended circular movements that sonic toothbrushes achieve. Our sonic toothbrush has 3 brushing modes and a 30-second interval timer. This means that you won’t miss any important sections of your mouth, and have different modes for brushing your teeth. For most people with a normal toothbrush, you can only get around 300 brush strokes per minute manually, however with a sonic toothbrush, you can get up to 30,000 - 40,000, providing teeth cleaning that is virtually unattainable by standard brushing alone. Studies have even shown that sonic toothbrushes provide superior plaque removal and effectively people can clean their teeth with this technology more effectively. Many sonic toothbrush users also say that they brush longer than they would with a regular toothbrush due to the ease of use and the built-in timer.

Sonic toothbrushes vibrate faster than your standard electric toothbrush. Because sonic toothbrushes vibrate at around 10 times the rate of an electric toothbrush, a 2-minute brushing session with a sonic toothbrush will give you more cleaning power than brushing your teeth with an electric toothbrush. Our sonic toothbrush also has 3 brushing modes and a 30-second interval timer. This means more variety and ensures no tooth is missed.

In general, the answer to this question is yes. Sonic toothbrushes are capable of removing stains by polishing away external stains that collect on the outer surface of the enamel, improving the overall appearance of your teeth and helping to support your teeth whitening journey. When your tooth has discoloration it is a combination of stains on the outside surface of the teeth and stains within the inner layers of the tooth. It has been proven that over time Sonic toothbrushes produce better stain removal results than manual toothbrushes.

They are Soft/Medium. We have made them so they are “one size fits all” and are gentle on teeth and gums.

Sonic toothbrushes vibrate much faster than your average toothbrush which means they can efficiently clean the surface of your teeth faster. They are a great investment in your oral health because the sonic toothbrush is undeniably more efficient in cleaning your teeth, and with a timer involved you will spend the same amount of time on all teeth. This helps to avoid bad hygiene, get healthier gums, and a brighter smile. Ultimately, you only need to guide your Bliss sonic toothbrush along the surface of your teeth and the brush will do the rest.

A Bliss Sonic toothbrush is designed to electronically brush your teeth in the easiest and most effective way. Our bristles are engineered to move laterally, working from side to side, all the while producing sonic vibrations that drive toothpaste and water around your teeth and gums. This mechanical cleaning action is similar but more effective than your normal toothbrush.  It also includes a 30-second interval timer, so you know when to move to the next section of your mouth, ensuring no teeth are missed. By brushing with a Bliss sonic toothbrush, you are protecting your teeth from decay and damage, bad breath, and discoloration, while supporting your teeth whitening journey.

Yes, but such contact should be minimised to avoid gum irritation.
